Eggs and similar foods tend to slid to the outside of pan and are very difficult to cook properly. Teflon tends to be thin and is difficult to clean as the food sticks to the removable pan. My recommendation is to NOT BUY this skillet. Recommend the Presto 06852 16-Inch Electric Skillet with Glass Cover  or the Hamilton Beach 38540 16-inch Step Up Skillet, Black .Often Purchased Together     Summary This skillet cooks unevenly because of the raised part in the middle of the removable cooking pan. After using this unit several times the Teflon coating starts to flake off. After that you get Teflon particles in your food, and food will start sticking to the removable pan making it difficult to clean. I recommend that your DON'T Purchase this skillet. My recommendations are the Presto 06852 16-Inch Electric Skillet with Glass Cover or the Hamilton Beach 38540 16-inch Step Up Skillet, Black.Often Purchased Together  Summary I DO NOT recommend this product. The nonstick coating starts to flake off after a short period of time. The flaking can get in the food you are cooking. When the nonstick coating flakes off the pan is no longer nonstick and is very difficult to clean. I would recommend you purchase the Presto 06852 16-Inch Electric Skillet with Glass Cover or the Hamilton Beach 38540 16-inch Step Up Skillet, Black.
